Comments: Hello, all! Quick update: Amanda will, from now on, be doing her column on Tuesdays and Thursdays, not Mondays and Fridays-- this will give you two columns on any given day! We hope this works better for everyone.

Right, the song. This was stuck in my head all Monday afternoon, and beat out the new Ke$ha track for this blog entry. Sorry, Ke$ha, you can be tomorrow. This song is aggressively house, and I love it. The beats are hard and fast and unbelievably catchy, and though I don't like MCR very much, Gerard Way does a great job delivering the vocals. For what it's worth, I think the lyrics are hilarious. Enjoy the song!

Comments: Hello, everybody, and welcome to the shiny new Stuck In My Skull! This week is going to be jam-packed full of awesome, all hosted on this site for your viewing and listening pleasure! You might notice that instead of "Entry 306," today's post is labelled "Stuck In My Skull 306." That's to keep our columns neatly labelled and separated. Yes, I said columns. Both Miriah's and Amanda's columns are publishing today, bringing you three times the variety!  I'll leave it to them to explain how and when they're going to run.

Today's song is a deadmau5 (pronounced "Dead Mouse," if you're unfamiliar with him) classic. Heads up, though-- the video posted has some flashing lights in it. Deadmau5 being his usual, abrasive self, he felt the need to complicate things and post a version of the song called "Moar Ghosts N Whatever" (first video) that is identical to the version called "Moar Ghosts N Stuff" (the link below the video), and to top it off, neither on of those has the same intro that Deadmau5 used on his album version of the song. Personally, I like this way a little better, so I decided to feature it instead. If you're curious to see the alternate intro, check the second link for an album version. I'm fairly sure he only used that version to make the album flow, but whatever. Enjoy the song, and welcome to the new Stuck In My Skull!

Note: Since we're still working out a few bugs, the site might change a bit from time to time. Just bear with us, and if something looks whacky, please, let us know!

Entry 260-- "Miami 2 Ibiza"

Written By Christopher Audiophile on Friday, August 3, 2012 | 5:00 AM

Song: "Miami 2 Ibiza"
Artist: Swedish House Mafia feat. Tinie Tempah
http://youtu.be/LCH1AsUydSc
Comments: I heard via Amanda today that SHM is going on hiatus, and I couldn't resist using one of their songs for this entry. Unfortunately, Swedish House Mafia is not exactly a prolific producer of pristine pieces, so my selection was a tad limited. Thankfully, this song had not yet made it to the site, so I can use their last big (unused) single to send them off in style. I love SHM-- they make great music, and from what videos I've seen of them, they seem to have a blast doing it. Heads up on this song, though-- the video borders on NSFW. Enjoy the song, have a great Friday, and enjoy the weekend!

Update: Miriah has asked me to announce that the official video for "Blown Away" by Carrie Underwood is out! Links on the post: http://stuckinmyskull.blogspot.com/2012/07/entry-253-blown-away.html
UPDATE 7:00 PM: Stuck in my Skull has big news in the works, folks! Make sure to check back on Monday!

Entry 215-- Tour Of Techno Week, Part 5: "No Memory From Yesterday" and Update!

Written By Christopher Audiophile on Friday, June 1, 2012 | 5:00 AM

Tour of Techno Week, Part 5
Song: "No Memory From Yesterday"
Artist: Tiesto
Comments: Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Trance. Trance is a subgenre of techno, "...characterized by a tempo of between 125 and 150 beats per minute, repeating melodic phrases, and a musical form that builds up and down throughout a track..." according to Wikipedia, and it is one of my two pet genres, the other being symphonic metal. Tiesto has long been one of the leading trance producers, and has won the DJ Mag top 100 several times, and is generally amazing. Despite his recent trend towards electro and house, Tiesto's trance tracks are still exceptional pieces of music. The first song ever featured on this blog was a trance remix by Tiesto, in fact. Check this song out, and if you like it, please, go looking for more. Hopefully you enjoyed this week, and with a little luck, you found some new music. Keep an open mind, enjoy the song, and enjoy the weekend!

Update: The update is two-fold. First, I finally caught the fact that only registered users of blogger could comment on this blog. That has now been rectified-- anyone with internet can leave a comment. Secondly, the song featured in Entry 184 ("Burn it Down" by Linkin Park) has gotten an official music video released, seen here: http://youtu.be/dxytyRy-O1k

Entry 178-- "Sometime Around Midnight" and Update!

Written By Christopher Audiophile on Friday, April 6, 2012 | 12:56 PM

Song: "Sometime Around Midnight"
Artist: The Airborne Toxic Event

Comments: Hey it's Amanda! Here is one of the first singles released off The Airborne Toxic Event's self-titled debut album. It got a lot of air play back in 2009 and shot the band into success. Until recently, I forgot about this song and how amazing it is. I chose it because I honestly love it and think it  deserves a mention. There are two music videos for it, only one of which I've posted here, and an acoustic version too. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Edit: 10:21 PM, 4/6/12: UPDATE-- There's now an official video out for "Dance Again"! Check it out! http://stuckinmyskull.blogspot.com/2012/03/entry-173-dance-again.html

Entry 107-- Heart Week, Part 1: "Ass Back Home"

Written By Christopher Audiophile on Monday, December 19, 2011 | 11:35 AM

<3 Week, Part 1
Song: "Ass Back Home"
Artist: Gym Class Heroes featuring Neon Hitch
http://youtu.be/Aw80GYzWUIk
Comments: Many apologies for the missed entry Friday. As a small consolation, I bring an update about Entry 94-- the official video for the song has been released. It can be found here: http://youtu.be/vjIwmJMqrco
This week is because I am apart from the one I love. She knows it, and before we separated, tossed me this song. The song is adorable, sweet, and exactly what the doctor ordered. You know who you are. This week's for you. <3

*edit: Not sure why the title to this isn't working.
*edit 12/21/11: Got the titles working!
